This may be Trump’s most successfully ruined program. My wife worked for the census. My wife and I were looking up a specific calendar. The search query wasn’t particularly complicated and very clear. In Google, the first result was a 2023 version of the calendar, and the rest of the results were completely useless. In Duck Duck Go, the calendar we wanted was the top result. I can’t imagine what it’s like to use Google for a search that’s actually complicated.

The privacy concern is even worse than it was for google glass. 10 years ago, you could rest assured that google wasn’t processing your video feed in a meaningful way because there was simply no way to meaningfully use it. Now, the stream can be analyzed on your phone using an AI for meaningful results, and that data can easily be sold because user telemetry is worth more now than ever before. People are also faster to dismiss privacy concerns, so it’ll be an easier thing to sell to customers.

Bluetooth has never improved the user experience of connecting. It’s always been super annoying to keep track of connections. Bluetooth is limited to mp3 quality, aka 1/4 the quality of a CD, and that limit will never increase. We can do a little better with fancy codecs, but you’ll always be able to tell with good headphones. A headphone jack is still higher quality than any non-headphone jack alternative, and it will always be that way.

It’s literally impossible to be offended when the guitar is that good. You wanna know what happens to Money for Nothin when your sound system gets twice as good? it doubles in quality. This rule applies for any sound system ever invented.
