Then fucking do something against it! How long will the west and the NATO tolerate the murders, the espionage, the sabotage done by Russia inside our borders? Step up against Putin, show some dignity and start drawing some red lines and enforce them if they are crossed.

The NATO could start by showing a stronger support for their allies who are supporting Ukraine with equipment and aid. As a german it is painful to watch that we are always hiding behind the fear of beeing declared a “war party” by those fucks in the Kreml. If NATO would declare that they back up all those supporters for Ukraine and that every action against those supporters by Russia would result in Article 5 we wouldn’t have these issues and could provide Ukraine with everything they need…

But instead we are leaving the Russians free hand in their actions and are wondering why that degenerate Putin is not backing up…

The cynic in me keeps thinking that it’s actually in the US’ best interest if Ukraine and Russia stop fighting, even if it leaves things in a way where Russia gets away with doing bad things, versus empowering Ukraine to keep fighting until they completely push Russia out of their territory, but in the process maybe sparking World War 3.

The cynic in you seems not to see the bigger picture. If Russia suceed with this, they also proove they can get along with it. Start a war, wave with your ICBM’s and threat everyone with nuclear warfare, rinse and repeat. And let us not forget the precedent it creates, that other dipshits countries can follow. They must be stopped right now, otherwise you are just postponing WW3, because Russia will not stop with their degenerated agenda.

Well, nothing stops someone from doing that today, except for MUD, which would exist even if Russia finished off Ukraine. NATO’s ‘line in the sand’ is behind Ukraine, and not in front of it.

Of course but they can get all the countries that are not part of NATO, wait a few years and then come back with full strength, new ressources, new alliances and then we can ask ourselfs if there was not a place in time we could have prevented this…

Also I don’t like the current course of the NATO that much. I’m all in for deescalation but at some point and after all the threats from Russia I really wish the NATO would step up and say, we don’t want any encounters with Russia but if they choose to declare one of our allies as “war party” because of their support to Ukraine, we are behind and will defend them. I think this also would give some countries more confidence in supporting Ukraine with better weapons and supplies and show Russia that we mean business.

No, absolutely not. I’m son of an ukranian father, I want a united west against Putin and if I’m honest with you I think NATO should intervene like they did back in '99 in Kosovo.

I was deployed in Kosovo in 2007 and the people of Kosovo really appreciated the intervention of NATO, thanked us as soldiers after all these years and I think we have the same situation in Ukraine right now. Russia is commiting a genocide at the People of Ukraine. Russia must be stopped in their degenerated agenda of a new Russian Reich and I also think that a military operation on Ukrainian soil against russian forces would not lead to any stupid decisions by Putin. We “just” need to push them out of the country or at least create a no-fly zone and enforce this with NATO troops.

My comment about sacrificing of Ukraine was just based on time delay, if Ukraine could hold out and wait that long for the other countries to get their act together, or not.

I actually don’t get where you think I would delay anything. I’m for a operation against Russia and more weapons and supplies for Ukraine right now, better yesterday. Hell, we should have established a NATO enforced no-fly zone right after the first missle pieces crossed the border of poland.

There is also a feature in the game where you can become a character called a “Scav” when you become one you are assigned a random russian name, sometimes they are memes like “garandthumb” or “robokop” but in their depravity, there is a chance that your character can be named “Hohol” which you see when you die, or other players see when you kill them.

The developers of Escape from Tarkov, the Russian studio Battlestate Games, have published several new screenshots of the game. As Artem Lys noticed, on one of them the character shows the middle finger to the player in pixel uniform and with yellow tape on his hand, which clearly symbolizes the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Well the other option would be a quick NATO operation against the russkis in Ukraine but for some reason no one want to take this route, so were kind of out of options here. I would favor a direct hit against Russia in Ukraine anytime. It would end this war quick, would cause a devastating blow against Putin and I personally think that Russia wouldn’t use any nukes, as they are their life insurance and also their big bluff against the west.

What that operation would consist of?

It could have different stages depending on the current situation on the battlefield. First could be to secure the airspace over Ukraine, so that we provide air support against rockets, drones, jets and helicopers of the Russians and see what they do next. If they keep the war going the next stage could include the use of JDAM’s or even an armored naval, ground and aerial approach against the russian forcees in the east and south of Ukraine to drive them back to their degenerated motherland.

Last stage would the implementation of a (temporary) defense zone against russia, “peace” and reperations talks and of course the inclusion of Ukraine into the NATO so Russia will think twice about starting this again. Then we will watch what happens in Russia and see if there will be changes for the better so we can try to reestablish our relationships with them. And if not we can keep the sanctions up and let Russia float into insignificance.

Why join a loosing party or risk a global crisis if the war is only located in Ukraine and has the only goal of driving the russian forces out of the country. Why would someone join the fray to support the russians when it’s all about ending their degenerate “special operation”? I don’t see the benefits for China or anybody relevant. Maybe Iran will join, but those dipshits wold join everything that is against the west…
