Deleting it makes no sense with the way Android partitioning works. Disabling it prevents any of the code from running. The only way to find it again is to manually go into the settings of your phone and search for disabled apps.

Stock Android is AOSP + Google Apps, which is a part that has become so integral to Android that you wouldn’t be comfortable with actually running just AOSP anymore.

Yes. Android has a separate partition with a fixed size that stores all preinstalled apps. Deleting one of them wouldn’t help with giving more storage for user files, all it would do is break the ability to restore everything with a factory reset

Well if you save the opus or aac it’s only single lossy compression, not double unless the uploader used a lossy file as their input. But if that was the case, ripping mp3 would be triple lossy compression…

How is this getting upvoted, zram is a ram compression technique of a few % and has nothing to do with preloading strategies

Edit: mb, apparently its behaviour now also includes general purpose cache. Back in the day, I remembered that it would only help for low ram devices to make better usage of existing ram.

I am in the process of looking between repairing my phone or switching to a new one. And the no brainer evolution to the OnePlus 7 Pro I have is a Pixel phone. Pixel Phones are definitely not perfect, I know that the battery would fall faster than other phones but hey, that’s ok, google chip in it, possibility to go...

The combat becomes much better when you gain some levels. Early you only have few spell slots and cool bonus actions. I can assure you it gets better the longer you keep going, especially if you loot all the usable consumables (scrolls, arrows, etc)

Everything has a negative health impact, literally even water does. The question is always about cumulative and spontaneous dosage. At what point does it become bad for you.

One common explanation I’ve seen for aspartame is that it makes your body think you’re drinking sugar while no sugar is being absorbed. This is then potentially harmful for those with a predisposition for diabetes.

It’s possible that the increased risk of diabetes snowballs into an increased risk of cancer from diabetes’ secondary conditions. Making claims about “these amino acids are harmless so the substance is harmless” disregards the possible chains of events that could actually cause more conditions.

Profit for game industry is relative to sales, because the cost per digital game is practically $0, it’s all paid upfront.

You can sell a game for 1 cent and if all people on the planet buy it, it will probably still turn a profit.
