how do people sit in bleachers without their back hurting?
Bleachers have no back support. If I hunch over, my lower back hurts. If I sit up straight, my lower back is fine but my shoulders and upper back hurt.

IDK if this is going to get any responses, but if you have any experience with using propane with a portable generator maybe you can explain what’s going on....
There have been a implementation of Opencl in the Mesa driver for a year now, But, have any software start using it? I got no luck with both Davinci Resolve and F@H, and now I am curious.
Weirdest damn thing, occasionally my network connectivity was being lost. Not the wifi signal, but just the route to the internet. I finally realized today it happens whenever I do a fresh boot (i.e. first time after system boot) of Heroic Games Launcher....

This post is going to sound very similar to my last one, but now I only want to make sure I can check-in online from my desktop, download both the qr code and boarding pass as a pdf file to my phone and then either board the plane showing my phone with the pdf boarding pass to the agent or use my phone and the pdf qr code with...
I got into a mild accident last week; after being checked out, i don’t have anything broken but i have torn ligaments in one of my feet. My recovery has mostly been resting my foot and not putting pressure on; i’m not allowed to go for a walk. Would I be able to go swimming? This way I can keep my foot from being stiff but i...
Hi, I have an Asus vivobook pro 16x oled (M7600QC) optimus laptop with a dedicated Nvidia RTX 3050 Max-Q rated 50w. When I try to use the dedicated Nvidia GPU on Linux, the wattage is only 35w. If I enable the “nvidia-powerd” daemon, it goes up to ~40w. Is there a way to raise the wattage to the rated 50w like on Windows?...
I had a child and both of our parents were in another country so wanted to keep them updated with photos and videos but refused to use social media. I have been using Back Then which, to be fair, has worked pretty well. I pay a subscription and can give access to anybody I want through their email. They then have to download an...
I believe this may be a niche question but hopefully someone may have an answer....

I recently had to use windows for stuff and after a year of using Linux, it made me realise how janky windows is in comparison. Even on a top spec pc unminimized (or resized) windows flash white before their contents appear. Super-d to minimize/maximize doesn’t bring all windows back up or in the same order. And these are...
When compared to other Enterprise classes such as the Constitution, Excelsior, and Galaxy, we’ve seen a surprisingly small number of Ambassador class ships, both in terms of unique vessels and on-screen appearances. What might account for the relative dearth of these ships?
I have been using Linux for about 5 years and although I don’t consider that I know much, I know enough to fix my own problems and that’s usually enough for me....

Hi all, I’ve installed Debian in 2 (mdadm RAID 1 formtted with Btrfs) NVMe drives installed into 2 PCIe adapters. The motherboard doesn’t support booting from those drives, so I’ve installed Debian into a USB stick (and it works) and I wanted to add into grub the RAID NVMe drives....
