What I miss most in mastodon is that people don't showcase many of their recent articles and discoveries compared to X. Yet, it is a fun and effective way of keeping my reading up to date. Does anyone have a trick to get around this?

The lightest, this makes makes me think, what actually constitutes a gaming laptop, I have an old Intel 530 laptop, I can play Abe’s Oddysee on it, and probably fallout, which makes it a gaming laptop, why do gamers chase the latest hardware when for mere cents they can get a good experience, an experience which was a dream to many.
It’s just marketing terms and they carry zero weight (lol) or reasoning anymore. Best to ignore anything a company says and just look at the hardware and its use case. Companies will continue to lie to consumers and nothing will change that
That’s actually pretty awesome. Bluetooth speakers are getting to the point where new features aren’t really being released, so features like this actually helps a brand stand apart.
According to Engadget’s coverage of the first model with the touchscreen case, the case mostly just lets you use functionality from the app that goes with the earbuds without actually going into the app. I don’t use the apps for my earbuds or headphones, so I can’t say how useful quicker access to their functionality would be.

“I’m not a multitasker. I’m a weird focused person. If there’s a spectrum, that’s my spectrum. It doesn’t matter if there are planes going by or if someone is calling my name, if I’m focused on something. I’m really good at going, no thank you, I’m not doing that.”
My radar was having hiccups so intense were my feelings while reading this...
your main concern would be files. If you run something as your usual suspect user, that software can do pretty much whatever it feels like with files under those permissions, unless sandboxed.
Not quite malware, but if someone wanted to troll you a goof rm -rf isn’t hard.
