Yep

realcaseyrollins ,

And slowly but surely the entire Star Trek franchise climbs higher and higher on my list of physical media to purchase

realcaseyrollins ,

Hasn't Paramount actually been really good at selling physical media? There are literally 4K steelbooks for Star Trek: Strange New Worlds

realcaseyrollins ,

It has to be in general cuz Paramount has been pretty good at putting out physical media, even for streaming exclusives most people don't watch like Joe Pickett and Rabbit Hole

I can't believe this article is new, this happened months ago at the least. @Marbleturtle sent me this meme making fun of it earlier this year:

realcaseyrollins OP ,

They both sound WAY better in the episode than in the promos. Rick still sounds a little off when shouting, but he isn't shouting most of the time, which Harmon wisely pointed out in this interview.

realcaseyrollins OP ,

Haha I did get some light chuckles from How Poopy Got His Poop Back. I think the episode was supposed to be slightly serious though so I don't judge it too much, it's definitely far from the worst Rick & Morty episode ever

realcaseyrollins ,

I loved it too. The only thing I could think of is, it has a veneer of goofiness that people might find strange or obnoxious.

But it's one of those few films that I feel like a sociopath wouldn't enjoy at all due to how emotionally charged it is lol (for legal reasons that's a joke)

realcaseyrollins ,

I completely forgot about The New Mutants lol

Ted Sarandos: SAG-AFTRA Talks Fell Apart After Proposal of Levy on Each Streaming Subscriber (www.hollywoodreporter.com)

"A levy on top of our revenue or per subscriber, with no insight into the revenue per subscriber or anything, that just felt like a bridge too far to add this deep into the negotiation,” the Netflix co-chief said....

realcaseyrollins OP ,

Whoa...I can't believe I didn't know this!

realcaseyrollins OP ,

What the heck...my bad. I meant to put this in @news.

realcaseyrollins OP ,

I like the MCU but I don't really like a lot of the more recent stuff. I'm loving Loki though, but...it's kinda just becoming the superhero equivalent of the Fast & Furious franchise. Just more of the same with each new entry.

realcaseyrollins OP ,

I don't really like Netflix though since they aren't very good at doing iTunes or physical media releases...

I'm probably a minority in that complaint though.

realcaseyrollins OP ,

I've sworn off piracy which is interestingly why I wish Netflix did physical media releases.

I'd rather buy a show than buy access to the show.

realcaseyrollins ,

Not sure how I feel about this. But I think we'd be mistaken if we assume that A24 movies are so good just because they're arthouse films.

realcaseyrollins ,

It's absolutely worth it. You'd need so many tens of thousands of dollars to get similar fidelity at home that you might as well shell out $15 or $20 for a movie ticket instead

realcaseyrollins ,

It doesn't seem like you care much about audio and visual fidelity, and those are the only real reasons to go to the theater IMHO

realcaseyrollins OP ,

I thought that everything made sense at the end

realcaseyrollins OP ,

Also you'll be confused if you haven't seen any of the Spider-verse movies. That "time-slipping" is pretty similar to what's been happening to Miles Morales off and on in the movie series.
