No mention of the rate? Or the rate in non-police officers? I’m seeing an increasing amount of articles quote raw numbers rather than anything statistically meaningful, I agree with the sentiment of the article but it’s veering towards rage-bait territory.

So don’t serve expensive champagne and caviar. Thanksgiving does not have to cost $100+ a person.
But this title and messaging misses another point they seemed to be making, that many woman get stuck with the obligation and don’t actually get to enjoy the holiday, so they might as well get paid for it. Seems like the easy answer is that everyone pitches in and helps. Seems odd to charge people instead of just setting the expectation that everyone shares the burden.
Instead of hating on everybody else, why don’t they have a White middle to lower class, fucked by the man Parade. Its not like we all don’t know what it feels like.
There’s no antisemitism. It’s not dangerous equivocating everything as the same all the time. That doesn’t disenfranchise people and take away the power of language. I don’t need to be responsible on the Internet with the knowledge that my understanding of nuance and grey areas may not exist in the general public or potential readers.
