Sadly that really depends on things like how rich you are, are you lgbt, are you religious, how does the target country perceive your home country, etc

Who gains from directing the responsibility of solving the problem away from who caused it and onto who points it out? Because to me it sounds like it takes heat off the people who are responsible and silences someone who tries to alert people to it.
I’m not saying anything about responsibility. I don’t do literally anything out of responsibility. I do things out of desire. I often desire to improve a situation, and spending effort on a perp doesn’t usually help.
One consequence of this, even though it only applies to the primary and even if it is reversed on appeal, is to effective kill any momentum the NPVIC might have had.
It really punctuated the fact that there is no such thing as a national vote when voters from different states aren’t even presented with the same choices. With the electoral college in place, this mostly doesn’t matter, but NPVIC would encourage the most partisan states to run up the score for their guy by any means possible.
