Strange that I am in active boycott of two restaurants, and it happens to be both of these places. Not for anything high minded - they both discontinued their chorizo offerings, the only thing I liked on either of their menus. Happened 7 or 8 years ago now, and I won’t go back.
Ah my mistake. Reading his wikipedia right now, it says, “he transferred to the University of Pennsylvania, an Ivy League university in Philadelphia, where he earned two degrees: a Bachelor of Arts in physics, and a Bachelor of Science in economics from the university’s Wharton School.” Had no idea Bachelor of Arts in physics was a thing. But economics is Bachelor of Science? What happened there? Is that a mistake? Physics is a hard science.
Yeah, it’s my perception that the BA for sciences are for people that want to teach high school and lower. That’s how i got a math degree. I’m not sure if i could’ve handled any applied math. Abstract algebra kicked my ass twice, and diff eq took me a couple of months in to get comfortable with.

The justification given in the media bias website is that they are too mean to Trump (I wish I was joking). This particular rating to me was so paper thin and misleading I put in a request to remove the bias rating from the bot entirely.
This can’t be true… Trump didn’t even get the treatment he deserved for him leading an attemped coup. But media is too harsh with poor baby hands Donny?
According to New Statesman’s research, examining the impartiality of the BBC’s reporting shows that they lean right in certain areas, such as business, immigration, and religion.
…
When it comes to reporting the USA and, in particular, former President Donald Trump, there is a negative tone directed at Trump and his policies.

Okay I’m not in any way shape or form a fan or advocate for Kennedy, in fact I find him ridiculous in every way conceivable but I’m very confused. Since when does a presidential candidate need to have a residence in the state in order to be on the ballot?
It’s not that he has to have a residence in New York, it’s that the address that he listed as his residence, in New York, on the application for candidacy submitted to New York, isn’t really his residence. The article mentions other states may follow suit with the applications he submitted to them.
Ah yes, now I’m seeing that he actually lives in California. Which why he has chosen to list his residence that he doesn’t actually live at as his permanent residence for his god damned presidential race is fucking beyond me. Just more ridiculous from a completely ridiculous person.
I read somewhere else that it’s because his running mate is also from California, and for some reason you can’t be from the same state as your running mate or something like that?
I didn’t think they could do one sequel to Cocaine Bear, much less two. But they did it, and in record time. Cocaine Shark wasn’t my jam but I’ll give it credit for doing a lot of world building. Cocaine Barnacle should have gone straight to video though.
Voters in at least eight U.S. states will now be able to vote on constitutional amendment ballot measures regarding abortion rights in the November elections, and in Missouri on Tuesday, organizers celebrated as they learned their initiative to place a history-making referendum on ballots had succeeded.
Good. The more states that have abortion on the ballot, the better this election should be for Democrats. If even Kansas can pass abortion rights, most purple states should as well.
Ideally there should be anti-gerrymandering propositions to repair the apportionment of state legislatures, because those would benefit from a broader voter turnout as well. Because that’s how the ridiculous anti-abortion laws were rammed through to begin with.
