The election is not won by “who the majority of people want”. It’s won by electoral votes in swing states, and Trump is still the favored candidate there.
China is still industrializing, they are building all kinds of power, including coal. China was forced into heavier green energy than they have built previously because their cities were dangerous to live in from all the smog.
The climate goals are secondary to the real goal of stopping pictures of smog so thick you can’t see across the street.
Biden did several classy things during some real fuckin difficult times. I can’t imagine how tough this decision was. I really hope we as a country can galvanize solid opposition and keep Trump/Vance’s asses out. Let’s be grateful for the good Biden has done, and if Kamala is the next up that gets the nomination, support the hell out of her.
There is only one option which is the delegates vote. The question is if they agree to stand behind one canidate. It I was a delegate I would cast my vote that was for biden to who he endorsed and was voted on during the primary as vp. but that is just me.
I don’t know, I went to r/conservative and they seem quite pleased. From my observations, both dems and reps seem happy with what just happened. I saw no one scared or upset and I spent about 30 minutes reading comments.
It was actually kinda trippy how universally pleased everyone is.
They don’t seem pleased to me. They just seem like now they’re full throated into their fact free attacks on Harris, having pivoted effortlessly to those instead of the fact free attacks on Biden.

Honestly dude it just looks exhausting. I can see why they are so angry and chaotic whenever you try to talk to them IRL.
So they are basically admitting that their whole campaign argument was “Biden is bad Trump is not Biden” and now that he is gone, the argument is invalid. After all if it was a campaign mostly about Trump’s positive qualities (in their perspective) then it should not have really mattered who the opposition is.
