I agree there. This comic implies that both observers are correct because they are looking at the same thing from different angles; but that’s not how most political issues are. It doesn’t matter what your perspective on human rights is. If your perspective says human rights are not good: you’re wrong. It’s more akin to two people looking at the exact same thing, but one of them has glasses on that make them see ghosts and goblins that aren’t really there.
It’s actually pretty on point, but OP’s conclusion is off. People are discounting the amount of Americans that are just good with doing a bit of frontier surgery on themselves and calling it a day.
Yeah they have bad planning for the future during end-of-life care. But technically speaking it would cause them to pay more in the short term for little benefit.

But the file names were not as ordered and consistent like this, they were all over the place. Most of them did not even have proper meta data so I had lots of songs by “unknown artist”. Creating playlists within a music player was a mess, you basically had to sort and play songs via the file system
I used to spend hours editing metadata for my music library on my computer but it was a constant uphill battle. My “various artists” and “unknown album” are still a mess.

I think the point is that the fear of not being able to get it out easily would lead your jaw muscles to clench up. So somebody would have to basically trick you into thinking that the imitation is real.
Use an ice cream cone. Saves the effort of making some elaborate food thing. And with a cone, you can just bite through it, after the the hard outer, the ice cream is just easy to bite through.
I think the problem comes.up when your jaw locks and its a bastard to move it. I get it occasionally when I’m eating or yawning.

If you have old CDs, spend an evening watching YT or something while putting in a new disc every few minutes, otherwise download from youtube with Newpipe/Seal/yt-dlp or buy stuff on bandcamp. spoilerThe 4 main characters were mistakenly seleted to go to the “Good Place”, which is like the biblical “heaven”. It’s a place where good people go to enjoy the afterlife. This is the moment where one of the characters (Eleanor Shellstrop, the one in the image) realize that the so called “Good Place” they’ve been in is actually the “Bad Place” similar to the biblical “hell” and the whole “mistakenly selected to be in the Good Place” is a clever ploy to “torture” the 4 main characters.
In sync it appears to interpret the line break as an interrupting character, and it would need the tags at the end of the first paragraph and the beginning of the second to function. I think. Not sure.

Apparently it’s a wannabe powermod who got banned after squatting a ton of community names. There was a post from the admins saying that he’s creating garbage communities, with a quarter of all communities being those at one point.
Who you are talking about is indeed an option because he was genuinely pissed off… He created scripts to create thousands of communities so we set up rate limits 😁 But there are plenty more who don’t want LW to succeed. Be it banned users, defederated instances or just someone with too much time looking to take down the biggest instance.
There was also a (now banned) reddit mod who used to moderate gamingcirclejerk there and she demanded me to hand over the gamingcirclejerk community on LW to her. To just take it from the current team. I said no but I can be a middleman but she wanted none of that. She wanted the red carpet laid out ‘because reddit mod’ so she had the right to it 🙄 She was also a very known user on an instance we recently defederated with.
So just wanted to clear that up here. We have suspicions but no proof. Thanks for your support 🫶
