I have never seen a website so consistently entitled. It changes my sympathetic view of the left into a need to self reflect and maybe ensure those sympathies get solid, unwavering boundaries.
No one is entitled to other people’s stuff. We can credibly argue whether value is flowing to the right places, but that’s not what I’m seeing on lemmy in sync-bash posts.
For the tone deaf people who say this isn’t sexist or about women, look again. The whole package of ‘OMG’, exclamation marks, ‘annoying kids’, two moms, some annoying trait, is all dog-whistle for people who like to trivialize things women do.
Nice try with the ‘no u’ card, but calling people sexist for pointing out sexism is cringe and absurd.
I only partly agree. The part remembers all those situations where a comment on reddit almost made me spit out my coffee while at work because I found it truly hilarious
