Two issues with Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3 via Lutris

I have Ubuntu 22.04, standard edition + KDE (if that matters).

I can play the game just fine now, except:

  1. There’s no sound. Is there some sort of general lutris sound troubleshooting I can do, or how do I know what’s needed for this game?
  2. It only plays when the disc is in the CD-ROM drive. I have the game installed via Lutris to my “c_drive” but this game has copy protection, requiring the disc to be in the drive too. It says, “CD copy protection check failed. Please insert an official Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 CD and restart the application.” if the disk isn’t in the drive. Is there a way to copy the CD’s contents to my SSD and then make the game think the CD is still in the drive with those files?

Thanks!

If you own a legit copy of the game, find a crack to remove the protection, or download an already cracked version. You paid for it, and should be allowed to run it how you want.
