I am a grumpy old man that is/was pissed that we aren’t getting a “real” Baldurs Gate 3, but as it gets close to release I am sadly getting excited about it....
TLDR: From my experience, in 2023, the Mesa drivers with an AMD GPU provide an experience that is way better than NVIDIA with their proprietary drivers. And if you’re helping a friend get into linux, and or linux gaming I think you should steer them towards an AMD GPU....

i’ve been interested in switching to linux for gaming but i’m not sure how the games i play run; i like to play Apex legends and Overwatch 2 competitively. can linux run these games with low latency and high frame rate? i’m looking into the Nobara project and pikaOS distros
