Hey everyone, I recently got Jedi Fallen Order for 75% off on steam. However, now that it’s installed, the game doesn’t launch, just shows the blue playing button and stops after a while. I’ve tried proton experimental and GE. I’ve also checked the files integrity using steam....
A bonus part since I realized Windows optimizes everything for gaming out of the box. I rerun some tests even on Windows though and if the difference was more than 3% I included the higher score....

What’s the best way to evaluate your gpu performance on a Linux? I am running a 4060 with the Nvidia 535 driver. Should I use glmark? What is a good score?
I am trying to repeat my 10 Benchmarks video on my 3080M laptop, which I haven’t really used for a while apart from testing NVK. I had forgotten just HOW much Nvidia sucks. I had to reinstall the OS cause OpenSUSE stopped booting after I installed the drivers the first time. X11 is ALSO buggy on Nvidia and crashes randomly....
I currently run windows 10 on my main desktop PC, and also have a steam deck that I sometimes use in desktop mode instead of my desktop. With the way Windows is going, and the way Linux Gaming is dramatically improving, I might consider ditching Windows, at least for the most part, on my next PC build. What would be the best...
I picked it up and have been playing it. The first day, it seemed to run fine, but today I’ve been having a ton of trouble with it. I’m struggling to go 15 minutes without crashing, and when it does crash, Steam stops responding entirely until I reboot....
Nvidia won’t go above 80W cause the drivers are bugged. Still, decent showing. Next video will be Linux vs Windows on the 3080M, last one of this benchmarking series.
I want to enter an AMD Rewards code and downloaded the AMD PVT from www.amdrewards.com/pvt....
A few years ago, almost out of despair, I moved away from Debian in order to be able to play a few games natively....
A video for any doubters that Linux gaming is better than Windows in which it DESTROYS Windows by 25% in AC Odyssey. To put it in perspective, 25% improvement is like getting a new GPU. You can save $600 and instead use something like OpenSUSE Tumbleweed for free....
tl;dr ACO compiler support for OGL added, which should mean faster shader compilation times with OGL games on AMD gpu systems
ProtonDB doesn’t have any report yet but YouTube is full of videos of content creators that got early access to the game. I was curious to know if anyone tried it with Proton and how it works…...
Ok so a little background first. I’m an older millennial. I started using Linux when I was in college back in 2001. It was Mandrake Linux back then. I had an Asus V6800 DDR Deluxe graphics card with 3D shutter glasses and video-in for video capture....
Just tested on Arch, installed nvidia-beta...

I’ve found that you can play Rust on servers on linux. The only caveat is that the server has to either have EAC turned off or have their own AC, which on official servers is very rare. But its a lot more common on cracked servers (ArabArust for example). So if you really want to play Rust, you can. Just search cracked rust...
For the people that say that Starfield doesn’t run well on Linux.
