honestly, even i went off of lemmy for a bit, not because i dont like lemmy, but because every time i reloaded the page, it would sign me out, and i couldn’t save any settings, it seems to be happening across most lemmy instances right now
16 years on Reddit and probably waiting the last 10 for a decent alternative. It wasn’t hard at all. I do go back sometimes to debunk Lemmy FUD though.
A local resident gave police the tip that led to their big bust on Saturday. Inspectors raided a factory outside Ho Chi Minh City and caught workers packing the previously loved condoms for sale, the state-owned Tuoi Tre newspaper reported.
The factory owner claimed she bought the condoms off a man who has not yet been identified, according to reports.
It’s become like a hobby of mine to not pay for a single item every time I check out at Walmart or Kroger. Fuckers have their margins higher than ever and their starting pay is $12-14/hr. If they want to reduce theft then they can hire people to actually work some of the 20 empty check out lanes they have.
