oh that makes more sense, yeah it looks like an adapter which feels terrible to use. but also if you need a quick transfer, doing it over a cable or wifi is still better since you only copy once that way.

Man, Gmod must have changed a lot. I mainly played shortly after the first paid version released, and if noclip was enabled on a server, no one gave a shit if you used it. It was disabled by the admins or addons when you weren’t supposed to have it, like for specific maps or game modes.
This was also before just anyone could just easily host their own server though, so I guess there’s probably a lot more people who don’t know how to use the admin tools properly now.
