The Night Oven Bakery in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan is amazing. We bought a sourdough loaf, a brioche loaf from there and ate this tasty treat while in the store.

Made and ate okonomiyaki for the first time. I took bits and pieces from recipes from Adam Liaw, Chef’s Labo, and Just One Cookbook....
Happy with the result...
Flan is surprisingly simple, delicious, and is one of my favorite desserts to make when my ladies go overboard on egg laying and we have some extra! I can post the recipe as well if anyone is interested!

It may be a bit silly but I’m really proud of it
I overcompensate for my subpar burger grilling skills by going all out with the fixings. Toasted sesame bun, cheddar, crispy bacon, ketchup, red onion, fresh jalapeno, tomato, romaine, mayo. Squash it down and chow it down.
Just threw in everything I had in the fridge. It was delicious!
It’s about to warm up out of soup season so I made a new one for me. It’s butternut squash, cauliflower, lentil soup. It was funny because after I blended it with an immersion blender I tasted it and it tasted like it definitely was missing something, added the coconut milk and some lime juice and WOW that was it....

I made a Za’atar, Quinoa, & Turmeric Sourdough, spread some fresh mozzarella on it, covered it with halved grape tomatoes, and popped it under thr broiler. Chef’s kiss.
Standing rib roasts were on sale on Thursday with a big snow storm coming on Sunday. The solution? Prime rib dinner! My family needed a nice meal, and I was happy to give them a Sunday dinner they loved....
Bottom left - Tasting plate with, Focaccia with smoked black garlic vinegar butter. Golden chicken rib gochujang. Beef brisket croquette with chili mayo. Marinated olives. Kingfish crudos with horseradish, apple pickle and finger lime....
This evening I made a curry that had mango yogurt in it and rather than making rice I made baked lentil balls, haha there is a better name for them, right? Something like kofte? Anyhow this dish was extremely affordable, packed with veggies and flavour.
