I do not have any containers afaik, docker is not installed and podman ps --all gives zero results. I do use hombrew a little, have the following installed;
I have reported this over a week ago, in their help section, but have not gotten a lot of help with it, even though I have tried to document the process as much as possible. If I dont get any more help there, I’ll try to report it to the appropriate ublue channels.
might well be, I had one Fedora box through toolbox, but deleted that. But they still appear, so thats ruled out too. I dont use homebrew that much, so I could try to remove it to see if that changes anything.
Also, Podman --help states that ps is to list containers:
ps List containers
I have removed all containers and images prior to this as I thought that was the issue, but it seems like it is not.
I do not want to see polls added unless it’s only moderators and admins who can post them. If Lemmy is anything like reddit (it is), the vast majority of them will be useless clutter…people posting polls as “content.”
It encourages clicking a button over leaving a reply. We’ll get a thousand “Do you think [thing] or [other thing]” posts with very little engagement.
I have yet to find one. The domain filter trick used to work on Reddit because the images had a different domain name that they would be hosted on. That’s not true for Lemmy
“I read what you wrote as a standalone comment instead of as a reply so I ignored all context”
…okay
If the person I replied to was correct in saying that 99% of Lemmy is memes and I have memes blocked, that would mean I am only seeing 1% of posts when I browse. I am saying that if that was true, I would run out of posts quite quickly and that has not been my experience at all. I’d wager it’s much closer to 50% memes than 99%
OTTO is an age-old German mail order company, they started up in 1949. About 16bn yearly revenue. Second largest online retailer overall in Germany after amazon, larger than amazon in Europe when it comes to clothing. Which TBH actually surprised me I thought zalando had that one nailed down.
They also own their own parcel service (Hermes). Are they sketchy? Yes, I mean they’re turbo capitalists so of course they are. More so than amazon, nope.
It’s okay! Really! Sure China has nukes and millions of flying drones to kick out asses. But here in the US Elon has a humanoid robot! One that properly run and hide just like us!
