All the comments about the burger sauce on the fries acting like they’ve never heard of using thousand island dressing as fry sauce. Mayo, ketchup, relish (preferably dill). I don’t know why In-n-Out calls that animal style though… I’ve only ever known animal style to mean dipped in mustard and fried so it gets a crunchy shell. Not “absolutely drenched in sauce.”
And speaking as moderator: I’m not sure I want to keep fast food posts up here, but I also like being fair to the fact Lemmy is small and we don’t want to get all up our own butts like the Reddit sub. What does the community itself think?
Nope. I also totally missed even Black Ops 5 existing. But then again, what I’m looking for in a CoD game (good split screen offline local multiplexer with a decent selection of maps and not too much bullshit) hasn’t really been met since BO3. All newer ones are either online only (in varying degrees of awfulness, ranging from no splitscreen at all to splitscreen with two activision accounts required) and/or have a terrible split screen layout. Haven’t tried WWII though, so far, which might still be good enough (and interesting due to less bullshit than bo3, my current fav that isn’t from the 360/ps3 era)
And yet unsophisticated minds continue to imbue him with romantic power, giving him such dangerous poetic labels as the One Free Man, the Opener of the Way.
I get 4 weeks, plus sick days, plus parental leave, various types of training days and charitable days, plus a 2 week carry-over and I’m neither American nor European.
I was married to someone from a “third world” country and boy americans have so much worst than them. If I were american I would reather live there than in the US just to get all the benefits
I’m not a fan of animal style fries, but I do like their fries. I get a laugh at how everyone hates on them for having the least processed fries in the business. Long before in n out was in my area, every now and then my dad would make fries out of fresh potatoes. He would do it just like in n out. Cut up the potato, fry it up and add salt. I get that nostalgia plays a part, but those were the best damn fries I ever ate as a child. In n out’s taste very similar especially if you get them fresh. (Still not the same, but it’s very good) People always complain that they aren’t as crisp, but honestly, just appreciate that they are made differently, and expect something different. There are literally 3 ingredients. Potato, oil, and salt, and you can watch them manually cutting potatoes from the drive thru or lobby. Imo that’s a sign of quality, and I would be mad as hell if they switched to generic par fried frozen shit that you can get literally anywhere else.
Well, that should be part of your hourly rate. I’m also self-employed and sick and personal days-off are factored in (with a large margin too, just in case!).
The most heinous thing is lack of required sick time. And who is it that’s least likely to get paid sick time? Customer service, of course, the ones coughing and sneezing all over your clothes and food.
