It’s a cross-platform sandbox that works on Linux via Landlock and macOS via Seatbelt. We’ve rolled this into our CLI (github.com/phylum-dev/cli) so you can do thinks like:

Would that actually be decent? Even 6b models feel way too rudimentary after experiencing 33+b models and/or chatgpt. I haven’t tried those really scaled down and optimized models, though!
They’re decent for text completion purposes, e.g. generating some corpspeak for an email, or generating some “wikipedia”-like text. You have to know how to write good prompts, don’t try to treat it like ChatGPT.
For example if i want to know about the history of Puerto Rico I would put:
“The history of puerto rico starts in about 480BC when”
lamacpp is kind of this. you give it a path to a model and a prompt. download a smallish model GGUF file by thebloke. lamacpp main exec has an interactive mode too which can function like a chatbot. i never built it on android though maybe you need android NDK
No basically all Linux uses gnu Coreurils as a foundation and is therefore best called gnu+Linux. There’s a great RMS rant about this , it’s what the title is referring to.
They should make a new version of Linux From Scratch where all you get is the Linux kernel source code and you write the compiler and core utils yourself. Now that would be Linux.
Aren’t their embedded systems that run the Linux kernel without the core-utils (maybe with busybox instead) and would therefore be non-gnu linux variants?

Yeaah I fucking know the company doesn’t care. But its not like I’m getting a different and better role + a better salary if I just work the bare minimum and give zero shits about everything. In the end some people just work harder for selfish reasons, I doubt its for company loyalty or Love of flowers.
In a vast majority of cases, no one is to get a better role or salary for working harder or caring more. You’re a fool if you think otherwise.
The “company doesn’t care about you” line you’re so quick to mock is specifically referring to how hard you work and contribute. It’s weird that you don’t understand that.

You should prioritize yourself. If you’re recognized for your hard work, then all the power to you. People are just skeptic because most of the time, no matter how hard you work, you never get any valuable recognition for it.
If you don’t feel recognized, it’s still valid to do work that you believe will contribute to your professional growth - as a way to prepare yourself for the next step.
A normal set of calipers has 3 basic modes of measuring things: inside, outside, and depth. It is amazing to me how many people in this thread don’t know at least one of those or use them wrong.
Tbf people my age and younger (barely below 1/2 the population) typically don’t use them in most careers or even learn about calipers in High School. My work was the first place that properly taught me how to measure internal diameter and depth.
Learned this very early at my first job. I was new to the whole content writing industry so I kept to just writing the minimum expected 2000 words per day.
Meanwhile two other coworkers with more experience wanted to impress the management I guess and wrote way above that.
The result? More and more work for them. And also when performance reviews came along I was the only one to get a raise because “the quality of my writing was above average in the company.”
In the end, they were punished for “over productivity” while I was rewarded because sticking with the minimum word counts meant I had time to polish my work.
