There’s been a lot of buzz here about the Fairphone here lately, especially with it coming to the US....

I have recently started using fediverse apps, mostly lemmy and mastodon. So far Lemmy is the only one I use the most and kind of understand....

Curious to know what people have encountered in their lives.

We had a very efficient and funny campaign to inform the general public that screenshots are not memes. However, people keep posting screenshots in this community. I propose that we establish a rule banning screenshots. Maybe there is a dedicated community or screenshots enthusiasts could create one. Of course if this proposal...

Obviously, most social networks have some sort of engagement button for liking/up voting/promoting a piece of content. As well as helping users feel like they’re participating, rather than just passively consuming, most networks also use the likes/ups to filter or promote content to other users....

I want to self-host lemmy and participate in federation. However, I wonder whether it’s possible to have a setup where only I, and trusted users, are allowed to browse federated-content....

I like watching good comedies, any suggestions down in the comments would be wonderful....
