How are you finding using a food bank?
Hello and apologies if this doesn’t fit the No Stupid Questions community exactly… I’m working on a research project in the UK, around food bank usage, and wondered if anyone who uses a food bank would be prepared to answer a few questions…...
The Japanese developers of Puck-Man changed the name to Pac-Man when porting it to North America to avoid a scenario where the "P" in Puck Man would be changed to an "F", forming an obscene name.
Eyeing the game’s success in Japan, Namco initialized plans to bring the game to the international market, particularly the United States.[26] Before showing the game to distributors, Namco America made a number of changes, such as altering the names of the ghosts.[26] The biggest of these was the game’s title; executives at...

Is is possible to see who upvoted/downvoted a specific comment?
I read on reddit that on Lemmy you can see users’ upvote/downvote history. I therefore expected to be able to see upvote/downvote breakdown by user for my own comments. But couldn’t find this. Does this feature exist or is that a myth?

Text-based games!(?)
Even though we got a computer in the mid to late 90’s, a shitty DOS-box that no-one kind of really knew how to do anything with, I was infinitely interested in anything to do with it. I remember playing Guerrilla Wars and some dungeon crawlers on it and such, but I feel like I almost entirely missed out on text-based games. I...

What is the current "favorite" show?
Showing the speed limit while driving.
Using Google Maps on Android Auto. When I have a destination, it shows the speed limit of the current road. But if I don’t have a destination it won’t show the speed limit. It still knows what the speed limit is, but it won’t show it. Is there any way to have it show the speed limit all the time?
There is one minor translation issue on gnome software but I have zero experience in contributing. How do I do it?
Should I look into their source code and apply PR for my translation?
