Sivecano , to nostupidquestions in Is linux actually gaming ready or is it just not for me?

Tbh I can recommend nobara linux. For gaming especially it’s often nice to have access to recent drivers / proton versions. But maybe that’s not even relevant in your case.

I love you.

That’s literally the funniest thing I’ve seen all week on Lemmy.

AgentGrimstone ,

Yo thas crazy!

mexicancartel ,

I am blind where is it?

Masta_Chief ,

Op is trolling with the red circle. Look just above it. It’s only the leopard’s head.

I’m super fun at parties guys I swear

sorter_plainview ,

Come on… Don’t mislead them. Why are you trolling like this. Just look at where the clock handle at 8 will be.

mexicancartel ,

I found il later, but its not only its head, but its lying down with body on left

Ilovethebomb , to lemmyshitpost in So professional looking it must be true

There are some valid criticisms of SK in here, but there’s so much bullshit as well that no reasonable person will take them seriously.

possiblylinux127 , to selfhosted in Would you buy "self-hosted in a box" hardware?

It would make more sense to sell a management service

You can actually get the terminal output from your game by setting the launch options to %command% 2>&1 > /tmp/log.txtWhich will write the terminal output of the game to the file /tmp/log.txt

ishigami_san , to coffee in How much do y'all spend on coffee a month?

1.25 kg of Lavazza beans (at USD ~21, converted) for a single person per month, brewed ~20g (in V60) for 1-3 times per day

Sgt_choke_n_stroke , to funny in So this guy believes in Nick Cannon, who has 12 children with six women

You can’t be a good dad or mom with 12 kids I don’t care what anyone says

If I wanted that I would just buy Synology/QNAP/Zima, etc.

marketsnodsbury , to coffee in How much do y'all spend on coffee a month?

Between $75-$120 a month, for two of us.

We pay an average of $22 for a 12 oz bag of the good stuff from local roasters (Temple or Chocolate Fish) and go through just over a bag a week. Work days we have 2 cups each, weekends we go all out and have 3. We buy whole beans, grind them at home, and exclusively use the Chemex. Sometimes when we pick up a bag at the shop we treat ourselves to a latte (stupidly expensive) and that bumps up the average.

mub , to linux in What Linux distro surprised you the most?

Endeavour OS

I’ve tried all the usual distros many times over the years but never an arch based distro until last year. I gave arch a go first and it was great but then tried endeavouros and it came with the fixes I needed and was more instantly good from the first boot. The AUR and arch wiki stuff just makes the whole experience most (sry to use this term) Windows like in terms of fixes and support.

Sounds like a great time to propose my system of temperature: Super Celsius. I’ll connect it to the freezing and boiling points of water just like Celsius, but while freezing remains at 0, boiling is now 1000. Get ready for a nice mild day of 250.

TheReturnOfPEB ,

Kilocelsius

Brown5500 ,

CentiCelsius I think (10 cm in 1 m). kilo would go the other way. love this idea though

SuDmit ,

I believe it’s DeciCelsius. I don’t know in what system 1 meter contains only 10 centimeters heh.

x0x7 ,

decicelsisus. It would only be 0.1kC when water is boiling. That’s not very fun.

Etterra ,

That’s overboard; You’re fine just multiplying your Celsius by 2.75.

PushButton , to linux in What Linux distro surprised you the most?

Void.

It all started by curiosity: “let’s try this no-where distros for the lulz”

Then it ended up to be the distro I am using everywhere.

It’s stable and quite on the “bleeding edge” in term of software versions…

And damn it’s fast son!
