Im using Firefox/a fork of it - please note that many of the below mentioned extensions either only exist for Firefox or don’t work well with Chromium browsers due to manifest V3.
Adnausem. Built on top of unlock origin it will simulate clicks on ads it hides to mess up your advertising profile. Also has an ad vault so you can see the adverts it is hiding.
Consent-o-matic. Run by a Danish uni, it will auto deny all cookie popups by actually opting out of everything for you.
OP already clearly stated he want to use XMPP. What OP is asking is some client features the functionality of Telegram client. Or a fork of Telegram client, gutted out every signle line of code interact with the backend, replace them with a XMPP client library.
I think OP is quite clear that he wants something resembles to Telegram’s UI, but works with XMPP instead. The title is just part of the context. You still have to read the body, which uses terms “interface” and “UI”. This means he never intend something server side.
I won’t say your comment is inaccurate, but taken out of context and misinterpret what the OP means.
No. Please refer to the third word in the body of my post, which spells “app”.
This is another “I WANT EVERYTHING FOR CHEAP!” post
Where? I am not seeing what you’re seeing. Feel free to quote my post to show where this is, and please demonstrate how it is “i want everything for cheap!” in all caps.
The “app”, as you call it, only subscribes to the services provided. Whether you know it (apparently not), any features you described are on the server side (as to your post title). You are asking about the server, though you seem to not know it. Why else would you post in “self-HOSTED”. Applications aren’t hosted.
I don’t know that it’s technically harmonization, but sometimes when wolves howl at the same time, they will each choose a different pitch. Presumably it’s so the group sounds like it has as many individuals as possible.
You’d want to also consider, that desktop components were not created for 24/7 usage. My previous motherboard died by overheating south bridge – it likely wouldn’t happen in a desktop usage, but 24/7 didn’t let it cool ever. The chip has a small ‘volcano’ in the middle now.
About to turn 58 here. Can’t complain. I’ve led a pretty productive life, always stayed busy. No children, always taking on a new hobby. Backpacked frequently, kayaked, fished, always tried to learn something new. Kept a garden, built a garage bigger than my house, put up fences, remodeled my house plus a rental property. Doctor’s assistants would tell me I had the heart rate of a professional athlete or something like that. However a few years ago I slowed down dramatically. Gained 30 pounds. Back hurts more often, sore muscles don’t heal as fast. Use it or lose it as they say. I still have most of my teeth and all of my thick luscious hair so there’s that haha. Yes I do view my life in chapters. I’ve stayed the same person but have grown less optimistic
Someone said something that really struck me. I just wish I could remember who, they are (or were? I imagine they're still alive but who knows - sometimes this stuff all blends together) a queer photographer who recorded the sexual activities of same-sex couples and self. Either way, she said something on aging like "I always thought I was young, until I went to the doctors and suddenly I walk out and I'm old." And you could really feel the frustration and pain in her words. It made me sad, because sudden health issues can really take you down a peg or three. And you don't usually know about them until you're on the ground. But I will say my mom's partner is about same boat (but older) and he kept about the same thing going on. And while he can't do things as actively as he used to - he still stays fit using a rowing machine and he still keeps-a-going. So I know (from what I'm reading here) you'll figure out a way to get what you need.
But not only that, and I always joke about this - but you'll want that little bit of fat on you for when you get older cause I swear to god you get hit with some sickness and if you're too skinny it just wipes you from the Earth. At least as I seen it when I worked in a home =P!
Okay, that's it, you dun-did good and may you keep doing well =)!
As I’ve understood, privacy badger reliability on heuristic classification of trackers can help blocking the latest trackers that are still not present in ublock origin lists. And cookie autodelete allows me to choose which cookies I want to keep and delete the rest. And Strict mode only blocks cross-site cookies, I want them all deleted.
Cookie autodelete simply does not work with Firefox’s Total Cookie Protection, which is enabled by default.
As of Firefox 86, strict mode is not supported at this time due to missing APIs to handle the Total Cookie Protection. Also as of Firefox 103, standard mode has also enabled Total Cookie Protection. Use ‘strict’ mode if using pre-86, use standard mode for versions 86-102, or from version 103+ use the custom configuration and set cookie to ‘cross site tracking cookies’ option (not the cross-site cookies).
You don’t even need an extension to automatically delete cookies, just enable privacy.sanitize.sanitizeOnShutdown and privacy.clearOnShutdown_v2.cookiesAndStorage. To add an exception: Ctrl+I>Permissions>Cookies>Allow.
