The more I play, the less I enjoy games that have active combat systems, from the Mario RPGs’ timed attacks to even Final Fantasy’s ATB. I really want to have time to think my turns and just select and use the skills, no reason to try to make it more action-based. So the MegaTen series and Trails series are the ones that cater to my current tastes.
Grandia series. I’m partial to the leveling systems but the battle system is fantastic. There’s ATB, field movement, charged attacks/magic incantations that can be canceled, a light combo system. I just love it

I apologise if my opinion here (this ceremony being ‘disgusting’) came across as me finding it to be fact, because I didn’t. My opinion here is one I consider sensible, and as such would find anyone disagreeing insane.

While I may agree with the waste of time and money, I see the whole thing of Olympics a waste of time and money but if people want to have some fun who am I to stop them. People find your use of the word disgusting well disgusting and that you recognize it as so even more intolerant. Maybe even bigoted? Also the whole thing from what I see falls under ART. While you may find it disgusting others my find it lovely, fun, and entertaining, I did. While you can have your opinions I hope you don’t stop people from having fun when you disagree with them. How about entering straight opcode, operand with only a hex keypad and two pairs of 7 segment LEDs. You can only see one set of numbers at a time. You had to write it out on paper to be able to keep track and count positions so you don’t use your spot.
I had to do this as a project in school. Two 8088 units that we breadboarded to a UART that we used to drive a fiber optic link to communicate with each other with a basic protocol. All descrete components hand wired and coded.
It made you tie all of skills together into a full system of hardware and software.

The section of the bourgeouisie that expresses support for trans people often do so out of opportunism (though some probably genuinely support it They’re human after all). Holy jam, I saw this and had to comment. So idk about rooting a Motorola because it's not a "mainstream" Android (as in pretty much Samsung) nowadays. But perhaps Legacy in that situation. But I did have a solution for you if you were interested that doesn't require rooting (as far as I know). I was goobing around on the internet and found this man who was talking about the perfect minimalist phone. And figured when I gave a shit I would mess around with ADK (I believe it is) and this git-repo. But the lovely Jose Briones apparently also supports this. So give it a check if you want because I remember seeing Motorola explicitly being used in both the OG and the offshoot.
Anyways - less invasive phone while not being totally degoogled and the battery lasts longer. Hope you dig in cause I think you'll end up really liking it. GL!

Honestly, I don't think it got any better than ATB systems in FF 6 and 7. Everybody else is either riffing on those or spending so much money they think they can't be those and need to be Devil May Cry instead.
