My favorite childhood series. I remember getting The Andalite Chronicles in hardback and was so excited. Also, I think you’re right. He would have been great.
Ditto Sync for Lemmy. Once the API shit started going down and I first started using Lemmy, I would not have dared to hope that any of the third party apps would migrate here too, let alone multiple.
Agree with the message but the phrasing is slightly off.
Some people have bodies that don’t function perfectly in the climate they’re in, resulting in, for example, vitamin D shortage. Taking some vitamin supplements can help in that case. You were never healthy before, but are after you start taking supplements.
Sometimes these things are long term too. You can use medicine to reduce skin oil generation to combat acne. Antibiotics can help you overcome a bacterial infection, antiviral medicine can help with viral infections. When you get better from those infections you can stop taking the medicine and continue to be healthy.
I can’t believe Photopea (www.photopea.com) is free. It has nearly all the same features as Photoshop and works in just the same way. But it runs in the browser! Super quick, regularly updated, and free. Amazing.
I don’t think I agree with you on this. Medicines may be a way to treat illness, but if we’re talking about health as a state of being as in, without the need for medical intervention, then I would have to say that the things that have the most direct impact are food and access to food, activity level, and environmental factors such as air and water quality and housing. But anyways!
Yes. People seem to think that medicines make you healthy when they actually stop things that are ailing you. Some medicines actually work to kill off part of you that’s gone wrong.
People also seem to think that taking a vitamin pill once a day will make you healthy even though you eat crap, vape and don’t exercise.
Gitea. Because, I don’t know when Big Brother will decide to snoop or takedown my repositories
But the biggest dilemma I face is everyone’s on GitHub, not on my little Gitea instance. I think I should use GitHub for my public repositories where I need collaboration. Anyway, that’s a different issue
@activator90 https://forgejo.org/ is attempting to solve that problem. If we all adopt it (or other federated forges that may appear), we don't need GitHub at all.
It mostly just contains graphical changes, and adds optional ray tracing which I wouldn’t suggest unless you have a very powerful computer.
It had some issues when it first came out, but it seems to work fine now from my experience. Don’t expect anything groundbreaking but it’s a nice update. Textures especially look better overall.
