Yeah, I can understand the relation you’re making there. They both have that upward inflection. Higher pitch. I don’t know if their accents would be considered the same because of these qualities though.
To share from where to where? For sharing with your own computer at home I just have a SMB share and I use Cx File Explorer to access it like I would on a PC. For direct phone to phone sharing... I haven't had to do that in ages, so I wouldn't know. I have a number of solutions for cloud file sharing that are platform agnostic, though.
Oh, gotcha. Yeah, direct phone-to-phone transfers have been rare and mostly replaced by cloud shares for me. It's just easier to add the file in question to some cloud destination that allows link sharing instead.
Tell me about it English is a bastardised language made up of so many different languages rules. Have you heard of Lee and Perrins Worcestershire sauce? It’s pronounced wuster-shere.
Great sauce btw, real umami flavour and great on cheese on toast.
English used to be phonetic, it’s just people started changing the way they pronounced vowels, but the spelling stayed the same. For example, both the k and the gh in “knight” used to be pronounced.
Lots of YT creators edit their face to look strange or unsettling. I’m the same as you, though I think it’s more the gimmicky nature of his content I’m a bit put off by.
DeArrow is an open source browser extension for crowdsourcing better titles and thumbnails on YouTube. The goal is to make titles accurate and reduce sensationalism. No more arrows, ridiculous faces, and no more clickbait.
It’s nice because it will affect all the videos equally. I didn’t want to use it initially because it was messing with my ability to remember which videos I had already seen. I might give it a try again since people keep changing video thumbnails now
I don’t have much PC building experience, but these specs seem sufficient. Only comment is that you might need to use a distro with a new-ish kernel and graphics stack, given the very recent CPU and GPU. So not Debian stable, but Fedora, Ubuntu, or any rolling release distro will be fine.
presumably you instinctively know that you’re in a wholly safe place and there is no excuse not to do it anymore. We’re really not made to suppress elimination for a long time like that, in nature the only reason not to get the business done is because you gotta walk away from camp or because you’re chased by a lion, and neither of those tend to take a long time…
we should really be glad we’re at all able to hold it in as long as we do
I use syncthing to copy important files between pc, phone and proxmox server. Syncthing can be set up with version control so it keeps old versions of files.
Only the proxmox server is properly backed up though. to a proxmox backup server running in a VM on said proxmox server. the encryptred backup files are copied to backblaze using rclone
Not sure if this is what you are looking for, but it works for me.
TLDR syncthing for copies between local machines, and proxmox backup server and backblaze for proper backups
