I have been using linux about 4 years now and in that time i’ve done a bunch of installs. Lately i’ve been setting up luks and lvm, but each time i install a distro ive set up bodhi and nixos with this setup but the issue i have is that each time ive done it i’ve had to follow a guide....

I don’t have a google account and don’t want one and really prefer to not upload my contacts to someone else’s server as a matter of principle. I have a personal nextcloud server so could use that if it helps, but it’s not clear that it does....

I can access my employer’s local network if I authenticate with a 2fa. They suggest proprietary software, but aegis authenticator (found in fdroid) works fine....
