Got a new Zimaboard yesterday, running through using it to migrate the Plex workload off of my Synology NAS- but running in to a strange issue....

I’m trying to run Windows 10 on a virtual machine, but every ISO I launch shows me a blue screen with an error: system thread exception not handled...

Having grown up on livejournal, tumblr really was the closest in experience and culture to how it was then. reddit text posts were actually closest appearance to a livejournal post for quite a while but by the time that was added everyone were comfortable on tumblr, and following users in reddit were added even later....

Asking about why the kernel needs to support secure boot on an individual system where I am not concerned about the hole punched by the nvidia kernel module. I’m concerned about the proprietary boot loader firmware that will never be maintained well. I’m not asking if it is a good idea in general or for most people....

Does it happen to anyone else and does anyone know why it happens and if it means it’s gone bad or it’s safe?...

I just got into usenet and some of the files downloaded are ISOs. I’m trying to figure out the best way to convert them to mp4s so that I can play them through plex. I’m running on a headless arch server (Manjaro), and I’d prefer to keep the conversion there if possible....

I just learned the mind palace technique to memorize stuff and wanna put it to use.

Has anyone started to create some form of ‘Copy’ Project for Reddit, Not like a clone of the site or something. I’m more thinking of a project that’s goal is to almost duplicate what Reddit currently has on it directly to Lemmy or other Fediverse platforms?
