I remember why I stopped using Geany text editor: comment toggling not as expected

Switching to Android: good resources for learning?
I’m planning to get a Pixel 8 this month after using only iPhones since my first iPhone in ~2010. I used to be a big Apple fan, so I have a good understanding of iOS, good iOS apps, etc, from years of Apple blogs, podcasts, etc. I have nowhere near the same level of understanding of Android. For instance, I was just watching a...
What would cause a hard drive's, in an enclosure, filesystem to not mount in PopOs?
Still new to linux hope its ok to ask here. I decided to replace one of my backup drives for the first time in 5ish years with a new 2.5" HDD meant for internal use but in an enclosure (the enclosure works fine). I formatted it in ntfs via gparted and everything went as expected, I even created a large veracrypt container file....

Like how hacks.guide has tutorials for nintendo consoles, there should be one for piracy
Best service for music if I don't want to listen to what I already know?
I’m currently getting through the free subs. I tried Spotify and didn’t like it. YouTube Music was fine, but would sometimes stop playing and not restart on its own. I’m currently on Amazon Music. It has three months free sub, while other services have only one, but it’s so bad. The recommendations are all complete miss....
A book across the year
I have been reading Finnegans Wake over the course of this year, a few pages a day, along with a group over on reddit. It is one of the very few things that still keeps me visiting reddit at all....
Minecraft Bedrock for Linux
Hello, I am trying to install Minecraft Bedrock on Arch Linux to play cross-platform multiplayer with my friends. I have heard about the mcpelauncher but that requires to have Minecraft from Play Store, and I already have bought Java and Bedrock for PC. Can I do anything to actually play Minecraft Bedrock on Linux?

Is a VPN needed with DNS over HTTPS and Encrypted Client Hello?
I was wondering if a VPN would add any kind of security or privacy if one is connecting to a host with a client/browser that supports DNS over HTTPS and that host supports encrypted client hello. Is there a way for the ISP or anything in between to shape traffic or even know what is being accessed? The only thing that should be...

Twitch-like service for the fediverse?
I’m thinking of spinning up some streaming for a couple of games in the near future, (I always do massive 400+ hour factories in Satisfactory) and was wondering if there’s a place or software to stream on that’s not Amazon, Google, Microsoft, or Meta? I’m not looking for revenue or massive followers, this would just be...

Backpack Battles: business model i haven't seen since Minecraft, and it seems to be working?
All over Twitch, about half the streamers I usually watch playing turn-based strategy games are all suddenly playing the same new game. I watched a few streams, and it looked interesting. Normally, I never buy games when they just come out because I have such a backlog and can wait for a sale, but I figured if everyone...

Cleaning long tubes? (More a howto/research aid)
I’m looking for some help researching how to clean long tubes, such as maybe 1/4 inch pickup tubes for a water pump that may be 20 feet long. I’ve been able to find hydration bladder cleaning kits that allow for cleaning the first 2 or 3 feet of these tubes, but beyond some sort of high pressure/high flow system with high...
Digital Picture Frames
Does anyone know of a digital picture frame product that is good, but doesn’t completely rely on some proprietary service? I’d prefer not to get something as a gift and then in a few years it completely stop working because the company that produced it no longer supports it.
Ryzen 7950x vs 7950x3d for an all rounder setup?
