One of the first wow-moments when I first installed linux (2003ish) was Enlightenment. I though it was very pretty, and quite different from the mainstream WMs. It was presented as a feature, not a bug, that development was slow: the people behind it wanted to take the time it took to get it right....
Someone recently donated 5 twenty pound turkeys to us. It took a few days for the first one to thaw. I broke it down and got 8 pounds of meat for canning and made a three day stock out of the rest, which just came out of the canner. Four more turkeys to go.

I got my car (2020 Ford Fusion Hybrid SE) new 3 years ago at $25k for a 6 year loan @ 0% interest for entirety of loan, $350 a month payment. I’m about halfway paid off and have about $12.5k left on it. What should I do? I just get sick of paying $350 a month.

Every couple months I get the urge to organize my lab/home office equipment into a rack/cabinet, but never follow through on it. I just moved into a new house, and it has a weird step in the bottom of the closet, that is covered in carpet. I’ve seen this before, and it could just be coincidence, but is there possibly a weird architecture or design reason for this, or is it just a quirk?

Title. Pisses me off mildly. I’ve got my earbud in for a reason (quick drive) and Bluetooth decides to connect to the car when it starts. The cars’ head unit takes forever to start and have to manually switch over to Bluetooth mode (while the audio is already playing) and the volume is way down....
