I use openvpn to connect to my server at home. When I surf the Internet or any of my apps on my phone go to the Internet while I’m on the VPN it’s going out to the internet from my server....

If I’m viewing a news article and it’s soft paywalled, I’ll often go into the URL bar in chrome and prefix the URL with archive.is/ which brings you to a full copy of the article....

I use my phone a lot, and a huge thing that bugs me about it is Moto’s airtight grip on everything I do. So many apps I never use are flat out necessary, every update comes with 2 or 3 shitty mobile games I never play, and I am just sick of it.
