Remember back in the day in Windows when your mouse would just slide to the left for no reason?
What was up with that? Why did it do that?

I’ve started a community to help learn and practice Irish/Gaeilge. I’m learning myself and would love to meet others who are also trying, or even people who can already speak who’d love to teach or just talk....
Hello! I have Proxmox VE running on a Dell R730 with an H730. Proxmox manages the disks in a ZFS RAID which is exactly how I want it. Because I intend for this server to have a NAS/file server, I want to set up a container or VM in proxmox that will provide network storage shares to domain-joined systems. Pretty much everything...
I use KDE on arch and would like to achieve the following behavior:...
I recently bought a Drop ENTR, and I would like to use the media keys. On the drop.com website it says that using FN + the F-keys should work, but “Fn hotkeys may work with Windows operating system only.”. Well, for me it doesn’t work. Any ideas as to why that could be, or how I could go about creating a workaround?...
I don’t mean for this to become a KDE vs GNOME post. I’m looking at switching to Fedora (because Arch is a pain), and it seems that GNOME is more supported. I use KDE on Arch. What features would I be losing if I were to switch? (ex: toolbar management, KRunner, etc.)

Hey all, please don’t even think of replying here with suggestions for actual IPTV providers, just DM me if you’re willing to make a suggestion. Otherwise, let me know if the below situation is normal....
The house I live in has integrated speakers and they are all hooked up to an old AV receiver (Marantz NR1604). Currently it is annoying to play music through the receiver because essentially I have to plug my phone directly to the receiver. I am looking at other options....
It’s Autumn in the Southern hemisphere (Spring time in the Northern hemisphere), and I get fascinated by a lamp post near me that some birds have been using as a hand-me-down for a decade now.
I would occasionally like to use (wired) headphones, but 90% of the time I am fine with just hearing the audio that comes out of the crappy monitor speakers. If I plug the 3.5mm cable into the monitor’s headphone jack (even without headphones attached), then no audio will come out of the speaker anymore....

Personally I wasn’t a fan of them, so was glad they didn’t continue on.
I’m hoping someone can help me figure out what I’m doing wrong....
