I finally got to cleaning up the metrics in my homelab and researched the means to separate my long-term and short-term data. This way you can scrape all kinds of noisy sources (e.g. kubernetes) while having a separate store for things you want to observe on longer time windows (months and years). The best thing? It’s...
I have been using linux for a couple of years already, very casually, just browser, media, games. Recently I bought dell micro pc and installed proxmox on it. I’ve been using Arch on an old laptop for a few years now, but I use Pop on my gaming desktop. I’ve wanted to switch to Arch for a long while now, but haven’t had the motivation (if it ain’t broke, and all that). I’m finally ready to do it, but I’m a little concerned about my gaming experience. Are there any gotchas...
people have been demonizing it for most of the AD years i think but it’s quite pleasant really. are there any proven negative effects?
