I’m considering building a directional FM antenna for an FM station that has almost no signal in most of the house. Otherwise I must put the receiver near the window and put the antenna in a specific position. (related thread)...
This is a honest question. I have two RSS services hosted on my server, and I don’t see the point. RSS is by nature distributed, and subscribing to my own server just makes the source of all news being the same. What is the advantage? What do people use it for?
I mean the one you do when you want something easy to do, but not when you’re tired at the point you microwave a frozen-meal, or just cut down a piece of cheese and put it in a bread
I’m fooling around with notation software that will label chords. I input a D major chord, and it offers to also label it also as F# m/5+. F# minor but then /5+?
I managed to install waydroid after a long and rather stressful installation process, but now that I have installed it, I am realizing that since Waydroid doesn’t come with DRM software (or malware) installed with it, it won’t play no videos, which is one of the reasons I installed it. I’d like to try the new Assassin’s Creed and Avatar, but they’re not on Steam - which is how I play almost every other game on Linux. I know I might be able to install Uplay games using Lutris, but I’m not sure if the experience is as smooth as Steam + Proton....
I work at a consulting engineering firm and write a lot of reports that are read by the public. I have an opportunity to recommend a different font for all of our written documents and am looking for something more modern/fresh than Times New Roman. Also open to recommendations for purpose specific communities about...
Might not be a game worth playing, even for free, based on the various scummy actions Bungie has done to it over time (what I heard was grind-heavy events, content that people paid for deleted, the vanilla game and plot experience for newcomers making no sense). However, if it was ever on your radar of interest, now would be a...
