Welcome all to Mildly Infuriating! I'm aware many of us are reddit refugees. Lemmy.world seems to be the best instance that complies with my morals and principles....

I am thinking of buying a VPS because I want to host some projects on it. I need it to be able to run Linux and must have a great amount of bandwidth (around ~150GB monthly). At least 2GB ram and 50GB Storage. What is your personal recommendation? And it would also be nice if it isn’t expensive....

Deluge has this nice plugin called scheduler that let’s you program at which time the torrents should download/seed, if you have a small homeserver on something such as a raspberry pi you can just schedule deluge to work when you’re asleep, this way you can seed/download while not impacting your bandwidth when you need it,...

I kind of want to move over to lemmy.ml because I don’t like the content in lemmy.one if it helps I also deleted my lemmy.ml account because I signed up for both and thought I could only have one. Going to the lemmy.ml website now says 404 deleted and I want to fix that.

I know it’s a dumb question but what are the chance for a 0 seeder torrent to suddenly be active again? Do I just need to wait it out?

Is it possible to add eMule as a source for Radarr or Sonarr? I’ve noticed that eMule is often used for older content.

I have grown up around Linux and have had people like my dad use it near me my whole life. I even booted a fedora version once on a very old machine when I was younger as a way for my dad to teach me about Linux. Sadly I never really caught on at the time....

I’ve been having ongoing issues with multiple games failing to sync my cloud save status ever since the Steam Deck was first released. I am currently attempting to get Steam to download my RetroArch sync’d saves and have had to force it to start redownloading at least a dozen times to even get that far....

It reminds me how Imgur is often discussing images that were uploaded for Reddit and OP will never know about all the comments.
