As much as I like radarr, lidarr has some problems radarr doesn’t. Some bands nowadays do not release albums and directly release singles on YouTube or Spotify, so the albums organization doesn’t work that well anymore....

I follow the #americana on Mastodon and there is a some pretty good recommendations for music that come from the hashtag. Is there any way to elegantly boost a Mastodon “toot” to a Lemmy community?

I’m very much looking forward to the musical episode. When Buffy did a musical it was a nice change of pace and a lot of fun. I’m hoping for much the same from SNW’s musical.

I am observing a very similar sentiment to Sinophobia, now regarding Russia. Reddit’s audience is primarily 80% USA + West EU, and the rest 20% also includes a lot of East Europe and other countries, leaving for 5-10% anti-hatred people. On the other hand, Western world makes up for a mere 12% of the world’s population....

First post on these alternative sites so forgive any mistakes. My external hard drive (a small travel one) was enclosed in a padded hard-shell case like this one but I’m still worried. When I went on vacation, I had the hard drive in a bag that I was dragging down the (carpeted) stairs. I don’t know if the protective case...

noticed that most of the current Windows releases don’t have the AI tool working. i also noted that it’s currently in the latest photoshop beta version (25.0). are there any cracks that contain the AI tool?

Things have been incredibly unstable there. Until things stabilise, they should force the traffic elsewhere.

I’m just trying out Immich and I’m really impressed, seems to be exactly what I’m looking for except for one thing. I am looking for something that is a central library for my family so we can all access the same photos and all upload to the same place....

So I'm in the process of switching from Spotify to Tidal for my music streaming (since Tidal pays artists like three times more than Spotify does). The only problem is, Tidal doesn't support podcasts, which is another big thing I used Spotify for....

do any off the Lemmy or kbin apps provide a way to browse instances other than your own? kind of like filtering for “local” posts but local to another federated instance....
