Hi guys, this might or might not be entirely off topic. I am looking for a solution that would in a civilized manner allow me to gather photos and maybe videos from a bunch off poeple....
Hello everyone,...
Hello,...
Was looking at the feed here and I see a bunch of discussion thread posts. Would it be better to have one stickied post with all recent discussion threads within it? Feel like it’ll let other posts on the community get more visibility.
I’ve been closely studying dialogue and cinematography in video games lately. Try to detach the dialogue system from the dialogue. What’s the best? Was it technically multiple systems or just one?
I downloaded it from Steam, and finished the tutorial. Then the transition video plays and I’m back at the main menu....
The information would probably be delivered raw into our minds. We’d just know what time it is, what the weather will be, who’s calling us and what the news are saying, without having to process the information.
From what I’ve read, gay people were born with the predisposition to eventually find out they’re gay (usually), and gay people don’t ‘become’ gay. They might come out or start engaging in related behaviours....
Hello. I have now recently set up an i2p torrenting system connected to jellyfin. The upside is that I pay zero to vpns and i2p actually has a pretty awesome selection of movies and tv shows (postman ftw). For real, i feel like i2p is where it’s at right now in the torrenting world, as it completely bypasses the need to trust...

Communities on different instances about the same topic should have the option to essentially federate so a post on one appears on all of them and opening any of them shows you the comments from all of them. This way when lemmy.world is down its not a big deal because posting to any news community federates to all of the...
Everyone is armed all the time and that’s normal, but to draw a weapon is an overt hostile act. A standoff therefore is a game of chicken because both want to kill each other and you want to draw first to have the highest chance of surviving, but even a bandit will hesitate to add a felony murder charge to their rap sheet. The...

My wife just got into Tetris and wants to play together. I have been bragging to her about how good I am at Tetris and now she wants to play together...
Hello. I would like to switch to Linux, but I also want to play. I have seen that all the games I play can be played on Linux with no problem. But I’m not sure about the distro. I have seen that Nobara is a good option, but before taking the plunge, I would like to know what your experience has been with it. Thank you
So I have a webserver running nginx, and I want to use it as a reverse proxy to access web applications running elsewhere. I know this is a pretty standard use case, and that the traditional approach is to use virtual hosts to proxy the different apps....
