Question is the same as the post title. I’m using Connect on mobile and very often I’ll click on a thumbnail for an image, the post will open and the image will appear briefly before turning into a broken link. Just wondering if it’s something specific to Lemmy, if it’s just Connect, or if it’s something I’m doing?

Had someone contact me because a browser interface was ‘down’ and it was actually a cert issue. It surprised me that in an IT context, this person didn’t have a basic understanding of SSL certs. They didn’t even know how to add a cert exception....

When we make an exception for a particular gender, race, religion etc, we imply that an exception is necessary for this class. Which is to imply that this class is somehow deficient. (which is of course insulting and problematic). Am I the only one who sees this?
