“AI” can’t replace people in any way. The most it could possibly do is assist a person in performing a task because it is a tool which does not actually have intelligence or awareness. This may be a debate but I am firmly on the side of punting Wilson the volleyball and cautioning people not to anthropomorphize a program...

I think I got a better diagnosis from the AI than the doctor I visited recently. But I can’t take the word of the AI at face value, so I’m looking for a site where I can ask for medical advice online. Hopefully somewhere where I can get a couple different opinions.

I know that Isotonic drinks contain similar concentrations of salt and sugar as in the human body, which makes the drink feel refreshing. Osmosis and so on. Isotonic drinks are not limited to what is branded as sport drinks - a mix of juice and sparkling water can also be isotonic....

Has anyone noticed that apps on F-Droid or that you just get from GitHub are just better than the ultra-popular apps on the play store? Most of them are open source and have no ads or trackers. But this isn’t true on the Play Store at all....

I think that most folks use upvote/ downvote as an v agree/ disagree. But maybe there could be, in the long run, a place where other votes could be made. Dm it’s more like a song quality system, maybe similar to customer support reviews you get agree after dealing with a customer support call ....

How important is it to have something like coreboot for your firmware/BIOS on your router? I run pfsense on a mini PC router from aliexpress that has an Intel n100 cpu in it, so I guess the bios is intel as well. I self host a few things on an unraid machine, some apps are exposed to the internet through cloudflare tunnels.

Everyone got logged out after the recent site hack. For me, when I tried logging in once things were back up, it would tell me I logged in, but I’d actually stay logged out....
