I want a tiling WM like hyprland to become a full DE with all the softwares installed together at once, some presets and settings instead of config files, so I don’t loose any more time tweaking it forever.

I would personally recommend fedora because it is usually very solid, stable and bleeding edge (frequently updated), endeavour is also bleeding edge but it is a terminal centric distro (without software center…) not recommended for begginers.

I currently run windows 10 on my main desktop PC, and also have a steam deck that I sometimes use in desktop mode instead of my desktop. With the way Windows is going, and the way Linux Gaming is dramatically improving, I might consider ditching Windows, at least for the most part, on my next PC build. What would be the best...

I love to use cachyos for gaming because it is based on arch linux which is light, it is not a bloated distro and because of the BORE enhanced kernel which boosts performance.

Yes it works on Linux and with qbittorrent even if the software is really old, the software has a yellow icon and a blue arrow pointing up. To star the .exe with the terminal do: mono “path to the .exe”

I never had an issu with this game on steam, my setup is a basic dell gaming laptop with Intel i5CPU and Nvidia GTX 1650 from 3 years ago and my OS is an Arch based distro, Garuda, but I also played on other distros without problems.

What are some commonly known facts that are too bizarre for you to believe to be true?

For me it is the fact that our blood contains iron. I earlier used to believe the word stood for some ‘organic element’ since I couldn’t accept we had metal flowing through our supposed carbon-based bodies, till I realized that is where the taste and smell of blood comes from.

I only store “rare old hard to get stuff that I loved a lot” but I just delete everything else after watching so I never have more than a 1TB drive half empty from which I also delete what I downloaded but will never watch after some time. All of that on my Raspberry pi home server with Emby and CasaOs.
