I haven’t played with mods myself, but one I’d recommend would be a third-person camera mod, and maybe one that lets you customize vehicles.

I mean at least Source 1 is still being used to develop games (or at least was before Source 2 code and all was released). Valve made a game engine so tough and versatile you can make it do anything you want.

GMod took that engine, and has done absolutely wild things with it. Hell, even just the modders for Half-Life have done crazy things with it, like make it into an isometric RTS game with Lambda Wars.

Goddamn. I made a comment on another post about how I think people just have hateboners for certain devs and such, and this post just proves it.

Like goddamn you’re all salty as fuck that a new update dropped (for free, that did add some things to the base game) that broke mods. I understand being upset, but it’s not really their responsibility to stop the work they’re doing on the game they made to ask if the third-party modders are okay with it.

Entitlement is strong with these gamers.

Correct. In my opinion, Megamind relies a bit too much on the humor, which is still pretty great and holds up however many years later.

But Incredibles relies more on the story and dynamics of the family, and imo will hold up through time a bit better for that.

I’m getting flashbacks to Hogwarts Legacy when trans people were upset about the character creation in that game for some reason.

My very first character in that game was a witch with a masculine body type (I like pants) with bright-ass turquoise hair. The game has issues, but the character creation was the least of them.

I once broke my neighbor’s sliding glass doors with rocks.

A neighbor kid and I were really stupid when we were 9-10 years old, and my next door neighbor’s house had been empty for a while because they rented it out. So we thought it would be a good of fun idea to go through the broken fence between our yards, and chuck the decorative rocks (pretty big ones, not pebbles) at the glass and make it shatter. We broke one open, and then another, then went inside to check out the empty place. We started to go at the third one when my brother came outside and heard the loud smashing.

Cops were called, in the end both of us were very apologetic and told them everything.

He’s been free soloing since he graduated high school. It’s basically a part of who he is at this point. I remember watching a Barbara Walters interview with him where she went to Yellowstone where he was staying, and interviewed him in his van that he was living in at the time. ChadCat is a channel I discovered recently that does “ADHD versions” of different popular YouTuber’s videos. They’re all under a minute with a quick text recap of what was talked about in the video. I honestly really love this channel and it’s quickly become one of my all-time favorites.

I’m not trying to advocate for short form content/media, but this person takes 10 minutes+ long videos and cuts them down to about 20-40 seconds. They’ll do video essays too.

I don’t think it’s that they’re so far back, it’s just that no one does any upkeep on the corners of those intersections/turns.

For instance in my city there are plenty of stop signs on corners where there may be a large overgrown bush blocking the view of traffic (or even the sidewalk, if there is one) or something like that. Sometimes it’s just genuinely set up terribly.

Usually it’s just upkeep and maintenance not being kept up with.
