Basically the same except we’re gonna generally agree that aliens are real and not just somewhere in the abyss of space. Feel free to disagree, but that’s where I’m at after the last few months - most specifically with Schumer’s UAP Disclosure Act. I’m sitting in a hotel at Disneyland as we speak. I haven’t seen anything about evacuating. Park is still open it seems. But it is raining a loooot.

Edit: it was also my kid’s first earthquake. They thought it was super cool.

I’ve been publicly calling out junior developers at work who try to gloat about working extra hours or whatever. Nah bro. That’s a recipe for burnout. Fuck that. 9-5 then I’m out. And no, I’m not working on personal projects using our (admittedly cool) tools we make, so stop asking.

Try out Fedilab if you’re on Android. I’m not by any means a big user of Mastadon, but it really improved my experience over the official app.

I still don’t really “get it” in regards to microblogging platforms, but I do occasionally find interesting things.

Honestly, it’s mostly my comfort using chromium browsers (specifically chrome) for dev. I know the Firefox dev tools are way better than they used to be, but that’s one more thing to sink time into when I could instead just get things done lol.
