My neural pathways have become accustomed to your sensory input patterns.

Godzilla, pure f-in filler, keep your mind off the real killer

When I was the kid, the house rule was French at home, English everywhere else. Kind of like your plan but stricter. Now that I’m the parent, the kids are in French Immersion school, so at home we do 50/50.

I always knew this day would come. I have become Slurms Mckenzie.

Avoid those. Call the restaurant directly or use their website. Because capitalism.

SurfinBird ,

Let them tell you which one they prefer then.

Your sour cream comes in a squirt bottle?

SurfinBird ,

Does it last longer that way than in a tub?

SurfinBird ,

Oh well, I was strangely psyched at the idea of sour cream lasting more than 1 or 2 uses before going off.

Taco Tuesday all day every day?

My first computer too. That’s where I learned my first bit of basic programming. Used to get magazines with pages of code to type in. Always needed tons of troubleshooting.

Bought a Dreamcast shortly after launch, had a wonderful time with it while it lasted. Innovative games like Seaman, Samba, Chu Chu and PSO. Amazing stuff at the time. The poor little console was being pushed to its limits by a lot of games though. When Xbox and PS2 came out, it was time to move on.

Isn’t swindling what the whole economy is based on?

This had better come back 2 or 3 times like Futurama.

It is well worth watching. They have some cast changes allng the way. Brent Spiner came back for an episode too.

Around 1990 my parents would take us to the mall and say “meet back here in 1 hour.” I would immediately go to the store that had a Gameboy display and play Tetris for the entire hour, often losing track of time and getting in trouble.

RPG’s can be a slog. Go for Starfox or other games that you can play in 5-10 minute bursts. Jet Set Radio usually works for me.

When I try to click the microscopic X to close and it flings me to the app store.

Would love to have the case from one of my first PC’s and build a modern system in it. That late 80’s early 90’s computer aesthetic was something special.

SurfinBird ,

Think you’d have to give a site too much permission on your system for comfort. Every game tells you the minimum/recommended spec. Safest just to look at that.

SurfinBird ,

All the old point & clickers were good fun. The one I played the most was TNG A Final Unity. Nostalgia hitting pretty hard right now.

SurfinBird ,

Dosbox is for dos games ;) If they ran on Win98 then try them on Win98 again. Get something like Virtualbox and make yourself a Win98 machine to play with.

Lots of problems, lots, but for me it was the Klingons that made this show unwatchable.

Why do trees stems grow new "parts" inside and not outside i.e. why is the oldest part of the stem the innermost "ring" and not the outermost?

Wouldn’t grow something from the inside require a very strong force to “move” the already present one? Instead growing from the last “layer” towards the outside would require a lot less force, but perhaps a lot more matter....

SurfinBird ,

Trees grow by adding layers to what they already laid down in the past. The newest layer is indeed on the outside.

Cake’s covers are crazy good. Check out their version of mahna mahna and never never gonna give you up.
