We started off in Hanoi, wended our way down and flew home from HCMC a few weeks later. Was genuinely just the best time of my life and being back in the UK has been extra awful ever since.

I appreciated HCMC because it was slightly easier to walk around / breathe in than Hanoi, and the War Remnants museum was absolutely one of the best museums I’ve ever visited. But Christ, I loved every place we went in Vietnam - even the questionable toilets.

And the FOOD.

I couldn’t bring myself to uninstall it completely so I just removed it from my Home Screen, it can live out its retirement in the app library

If Lemmy and Mastodon continues to get popular, we will eventually get Instance wars.

If the descentralization of social networks continue, we will have to prepare for the eventual rise of the instances wars, where people will start to fight about which instance is better and which one is weird to be in and so on, but that’s for the future of us all.

I tried to deal with forcing desktop old Reddit on my iPhone for a couple of days, it was absolutely awful - so tiny and cramped and difficult to read even on a 14PM. I wasn’t sure whether I’d actually stop using Reddit but the reality is, as it stands, without Apollo or similar I probably will.
