Ok so we can't use ground new because of bias. Where do you suggest we go to get our news then. I agree that there will always be some bias but surely a system that gives you news from so many sources will be less biased than sticking to just one or two sources

I'm still rocking my 4a but I'm looking to upgrade soonish. Screen is cracked, especially around the front cam making it useless. The USB-C port is in a terrible state and will barely connect with my charters anymore.

Might get this one. I looked into the new Fairphone but I just couldn't justify the price for a device that's barely better than what I already have

I should also take a look at previous pixel models. I don't need better performance. The only things I would like to improve on is getting 5g, wireless charging so loose ports aren't a problem anymore, and a better camera.

I considered it, but the battery life has become terrible too. I'm pretty sure the front camera lens is shattered too, nooit just the screen. I could live with just fixing the port if I wasn't going on a big international vacation later this year. I really need a good battery for that, and at that point I'd rather just buy something new.

I could buy a new pixel 4a for under €200. On ifixit a new screen is €100, battery €40, usb-c port €30. After shipping costs and paying someone to do the work it would be more expensive and the front camera lens would still be broken. Fixing it really isn't worth it, and if I'm buying new I might as well go for an upgraded model that's gonna get updates for longer.

The fact that the waste for nuclear is entirely contained is very good. It allows us to place it in permanent storage location like the one in Finland from your video, and perhaps even launch it off the planet in one or two centuries. There is no containing co2, only reducing.

    I'm European and I definitely feel that way. I don't like American spyware, but I trust the Chinese government much less than I do American corporations.

    How about I share something from my own country. What I reckon is that only some of my data goes to the US government through Google, Microsoft etc. while the Chinese government controls corporations like tencent much more than the US government controls US corporations. Besides all that, services from Microsoft and Google are much harder to avoid than for example tiktok and Huawei. So the US is getting my data no matter what, I might as well limit how much of it goes to china.

    It's actually kinda odd that celius also uses degree when all other metric measuring standards just use the name of the standard. (Eg. Meter, grams, litres). Degree doesn't imply metric at all. It would be more useful to just say "20 Celcius" rather than "20 degrees".

    Which indies did you discover and would love more people to know about? I’ll start: The Pale Beyond. Not sure if it’s a hidden gem tbh, but it’s such a good story rich game. I laughed, I cried and felt the characters struggles. If you like story rich games/ choices matter, check it out.

    Then we have artists from other gaming studios that are jumping into the Palworld controversy bandwagon. Shouldn’t these artists focus on their games? Or how about this? You are a 3D artist so you most likely have the appropriate tools installed on your PC. Export a 3D model from Palworld and do some investigation. It should be easy for you.

    What a dumb take. Leaving the whole palworld debacle aside, is this person seriously saying that game artists shouldn't ever do anything that's not directly related to their game? Are they going to tell Gordon Ramsey to stop making TV programs to focus on cooking? People aren't defined by their job.

    Saying artists would already have the tools installed is also kinda dumb. Just because they can open and edit files doesn't mean they would have tools and knowledge to rip them from the game.

    Earlier in the article they're blaming the media for not properly investigating these claims, something I can somewhat get behind, but why is this now also being extended to game artists? Should everyone fact check every single claim they see on the internet?

    TL;DR It was an old Wang system, 286 processor(I think, anyway), with no hard drive, a 5.25" floppy drive, and a lovely green monochrome monitor. I didn’t have it long enough to reach the point where I could have identified the actual hardware/specs....
