A small blade safe can hold hundreds of blades and it’s like 4"x3"x3". Makes sense they thought the inside of drywall 5’x3’x1’ would be fine. It can probably hold tens of thousands. Even with a new blade daily that’s decades. And when you tear down the wall you’re dealing with Sheetrock, nails and screws already. All that time would have dulled the incredibly thin blades.

This is all to say: it seems wild but was a decent idea.

So yeah. Housing the homeless is an effective solution. There are more empty homes than homeless in the US at least. And you can subsidize or build new places for this purpose, especially if they are transitory for the majority. And it’ll still be cheaper than dealing with all the knock-on effects of homelessness: litter, crime, health issues, etc.

I would need it to be 99%+ accurate to bother trusting it; especially when just searching an answer and finding a decent source isn’t that lengthy.

Oh yeah, it isn’t as good as the application. It’s slow and cumbersome and has trouble with larger data sets. It IS nice for editing in tandem and quickly viewing a file without having to open the whole program. But for any real work I do I open in desktop.

Worst case is you’re essentially invisible for a week. I’ve had plenty of platforms have a waiting period to join so not a huge issue. Also easy for bots to bypass by making a bunch of accounts to sit on

Lol, what? Do you have any idea how many people work for the DoD in finance or adjacent to finance? The entire Program Management track is huge. It’s not a crime or even recommended to pretend you don’t work for or with the DoD. It’s very clear what is classified information, CUI, or financially privileged. And there’s TONS of contractors who interface with the DoD in financial matters.

DoD finance is all about bureaucracy: just like most of the DoD and US government itself. There’s so many hoops to jump through to move money it’s insane. Money expires yearly in many cases. That old adage of units spending money in September is somewhat true: sending money you didn’t spend back at the end of the fiscal year is frowned upon. On and on and on I and anyone else with even a toe dipped in could go.

Shit, most DoD finance is public: the NDAA lists top-level spending allocations. Really it’s just non-acknowledged programs where the funding isn’t public. Which is where I imagine a lot of the shenanagins get up to. Your paranoia is silly.
