The Vatican said on Friday that it had excommunicated Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò, the church’s former ambassador to the United States, after finding him guilty of schism for refusing to recognize the authority of Pope Francis and the liberal reforms enacted after the Second Vatican Council in the 1960s.

Kansas was also the state where they put abortion up for a referendum expecting people to vote to make it illegal and they did the opposite by a large margin.

Conservatives are less anti-abortion than their leadership would have you think. Especially the “no exceptions for anything no matter what” abortion bans that are happening.

Honestly, the only thing I can think of that could work would be what happened with cigarettes- a combination of significantly rising prices and an alternative to the original addiction (vaping, which is, at least in theory, safer). Some people claim that legal cannabis fills the second goal, but it’s a hell of a lot more expensive than cheap beer, at least in Illinois. And good luck convincing beverage outlets into pricing people out of cheap beer.

Russia was wrong to invade Ukraine, no question, but in the beginning there was a potential diplomatic resolution on the table if the US and NATO were willing to back off Ukraine.

In the beginning, Russia pledged never to invade Ukraine in exchange for all of the nuclear weapons.

First of all, the right just had a massive loss in the UK. That is where we would most likely go, since I have dual citizenship, although there’s also the possibility of Germany since I also have the possibility of dual citizenship there.

As for how? Sell everything we have. Borrow money if we have to. This is about our daughter’s life.

Personally i found that post education i relate much more to the ancient greek ideas of science. Particularly in using philosophy to expand once thinking but also seeing the mathematics in the world around me.

You can ignore the fact that Domino’s is taking advantage of people for not knowing things all you like. They still are.

By the way, as I showed others, the closest coupon would only get me a medium pizza, which would be a waste of food since it wouldn’t get eaten. But that also seems to be irrelevant somehow… that I have to get exactly the order that Domino’s wants me to get or they charge me a whole lot more.

People really seem to think Domino’s should charge whatever they want as long as the person is below a certain level of intelligence.
