This has already been posted, but I have to share the part of this article that made me laugh the hardest, which would be at the end of this paragraph:

Almost immediately, one of the vehicles in the convoy got lost, according to messages posted in the Zello walkie-talkie app that the group is using to communicate while on the road. Later, when the convoy linked up to discuss evening plans, the meeting quickly descended into an argument about where they were going to be staying. Even trying to meet up at a gas station was difficult: Due to the size of a Buc-ee’s in South Carolina, convoy members couldn’t locate each other.

Religious trauma absolutely should be considered a disorder. And not just for queer people. There are people who grew up in incredibly crazy churches and are plagued with recurring nightmares of burning eternally in hell because they were told that’s what would happen to them if they made the slightest misstep. They aren’t daily or anything like that for my wife, but she grew up in an Assembly of God (crazy speaking in tongues people) church and she does still get nightmares about being in hell. I’ve talked to people for whom it’s pretty much a weekly occurrence.

I love that they claim that they’re stopping women from being sexually assaulted by a man wearing a dress and going into the women’s room… as if bathrooms are so closely monitored that a man in standard men’s clothing couldn’t just slip into one if he wanted. I mean he could wear a janitor uniform if he was worried about it.

You can still listen to his music. He has decades of music for you to listen to that are available from multiple sources. And he will also almost certainly find a new label.

Anyone who actually wants to listen to the music Roger Waters makes in the 2020s is going to be able to find him regardless of the label, but I would suggest that is not a huge number of people when it comes to people who listen to Roger Waters’ music.

This is far from the first time Waters has been labeled antisemitic, though it’s maybe the first time the allegations against him have come from close associates citing specific instances where he allegedly denigrated Jewish people. Ezrin — who produced Pink Floyd’s The Wall — recalled Waters making up a song about the band’s former agent, Bryan Morrison: “I can’t remember the exact circumstance,” Ezrin said, “but something like, you know … the last line of the couplet was, ‘Cause Morry is a fucking Jew.’ It was my first inclination that there may be some antisemitism under the surface.”

Stachel, meanwhile, claimed Waters once grew frustrated during a vegetarian meal, eventually declaring, “That’s it! That’s it! Where’s the meat? Where’s the meat? What’s with this? This is Jew food! What’s with the Jew food? Take away the Jew food!”
